The AGO Phonics Box Set combines Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the AGO Phonics series, providing a complete introduction to English phonics through fun, interactive card games.
Together with AGO Phonics Zero and AGO Phonics Advanced, the box set forms part of the AGO Phonics Learning System—a carefully structured series that supports learners from their very first words through to advanced spelling patterns.
Designed for emergent readers, ESL learners, teachers and parents, the three decks gradually introduce the most important sound-spelling patterns found in English. Learners build confidence as they play, developing phonemic awareness, decoding skills and vocabulary through meaningful repetition and enjoyable game play.
Each level contains 36 carefully selected phonics targets, demonstrated by three illustrated example words with the target letters highlighted. Across the three decks, learners practise 108 phonics patterns and more than 300 carefully illustrated vocabulary words, helping them recognise the building blocks of English reading.
